iCan is a community fitness centre, breaking down barriers from I can't to I CAN! iCan is for real people exercising for health; a safe, fun, supportive facility, where lasting friendships are formed.
FITNESS AND HEALTH
A wide range of fun activities to help you get in shape, with weekly changing circuits, including step aerobics, legs, bums and tums, bootcamps and much more.
Our resistance training machines are high intensity, but low impact – challenging but kind on joints!
Our regular exercise programmes have been shown to improve mental wellbeing. Our safe, community space helps tackle social isolation, and we are certified Mental Health Community Champions and registered Dementia Friends. “I’m never alone at iCan, theres always a friendly face and someone to talk too.” Mary, 79
Female only sessions allow you to work out with like-minded people, free of inhibitions and with more confidence. Our exercises are also specifically designed for women, who have different fitness needs to men.
Don’t worry if you’ve never exercised before or for a long time. We can guarantee there are many members who felt the same and are now exercising 3-6 times a week.
