Director/ Activity coach
“The imaginative one” I love creating new and exciting things for the club to do and participate in. When I’m coaching on the circuit I am nicknamed the “Sergeant Major” I am loud, love to talk and love to push members to new levels of fitness whilst making everyone giggle at the same time. I specialise in backs after having major back surgery myself so understand members pains and inhibitions about exercising with a bad back. I also love nutrition and will help you find the right meal plan, vitamin or supplement to make you feel in tip top condition.

“The technical one” I specialise in all things technical that needs to be done at iCan. From music preparation to editing this website and social media pages. When I’m coaching I love teaching dance based exercises and routines. I come from a performance background so love all things dance, singing and general silliness. You will also find me teaching the advanced rebounding session.

Director/ Volunteer activity coach
“The decision maker!” I’m a volunteer here at iCan. I work full time for the NHS but love helping out and mixing with all the wonderful women in the club. To be able to coach on the circuit I have completed the necessary activity coach training and I am a qualified Rebounding instructor. I teach the beginners rebounding sessions- It’s my new favourite thing!
“Irish Vicky” I’m a full-time coach here at iCan. I love challenging members to work as hard as they can and introducing people to new forms of training. I try to make each member feel special every time they come in. I’ve been told I’m “such a laugh” and you will always find me giggling on the circuit. Before I started working here, I was a member and I fell in love with exercise and decided to change my career at the age of 52! If I can everyone can!
“The choreographer” I was a professional dancer through my 20’s so I know all the best moves to keep in shape. I love choreographing the step aerobic and dance routines that are taught in the club. I’m also passionate about eating healthily and love my morning smoothies. I can help you with plant based eating and keeping trim post 50. When i’m coaching I love to challenge members by setting up fun challenges. The plank challenge is my favourite to date.
“The calm one” I used to be a member of iCan, which gave me the passion to take my Yoga Qualifications. I now teach Yoga at iCan on a Tuesday at 12:30pm. It’s a calm and relaxing class suitable for beginners. Members who participate often say: “It’s not stand on your head Yoga, I like that it’s not too hard” Apparently I have a very relaxed and centred manner when I’m teaching which I think is rather nice. My favourite part of my sessions is the relaxation 15 minutes at the end; A chance to stay warm under a blanket, with your head on a soft pillow and just relax body, mind and spirit.
